There are people all over the world that like too use products like pills and special diets to reduce weight. But, it never work for some people. In this kind of situations the theory of learned helplessness is applied because the person loses motivation to lose weight because they think that it is their fault and not the products fault for not losing weight. Therefore, they learn to be helpless about it.

Learned Helplessness Example
To begin with, What is Learned Helplessness? According to dictionay.com, It is a mental condition in which one becomes unable to help oneself due to previous failed attempts at controlling one's life. For example, I am looking for a job and I can't find any job anywhere. So, I begin to feel helpless because I start thinking that I am not good enough because no one hires me.
